About Sublimated

A mature psychological defence mechanism whereby the impetus towards desires, impulses and vice is transformed into something different and less harmful, frequently artistic.

Part of a project exploring people who use photography as a mechanism to stay at once apart from their own vice-like tendencies, yet remain connected to the world, channelling their energy into their art.

Then again, if you can do both at the same time, your pictures may suit the group anyway!
