The Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, England, has been collecting photographs of trees for the exhibition, “Deep Rooted: How Trees Shape Our Lives" (2009-2010).

Selected photographs from this group were shown on a slideshow within the gallery, with new images added throughout the exhibition.
