About DECORATED Domestic Animals (Invitation only)

DECORATED Domestic Animals (Invitation only). Get yours at bighugelabs.com/flickr

Welcome to the DECORATED (and curbed and tagged) DOMESTIC ANIMALS!

This is a group about all things to decorate alive domestic animals - a horse, an elephant, a camel, a bull, a yak or any other - used traditionally or created for a special occasion:
- elephant, etc. paintings, make-ups, dying, animal tattoo on the skin, pedicure
- hairstyles and hair colouring, painting, decorative fur cuts
- nice bridles, ribbons, straps, tacks, spurs, artistic chains, settles, anklets, jingles, bells, binkers, dresses, garments, dresses, headgear, flowers, wreaths, boughs, interesting labels, halters, muzzles, working outfit, collars, necklaces and all other accessories (with or without some practical purpose)
- another types of decoration and symbols on animals.
That might be a simple twine or strap sometimes, but it makes us to see the animal differently, isn't it? Let's notice this twine!

Note: not all species of elephants are domesticated; African elephant is wild. Though even Indian labour animals may be considered only half-domesticated, we accept their images in the pool. We may allow some rare exceptions from this rule for submiiting very special, individually tamed wild animals.

PLEASE, ADD SOME INFORMATION ABOUT THESE TRADITIONS, OCCASIONS, PLACES AND/OR MATERIALS, if it is not indicated yet.

TAG: It will be very appreciated if you add the tag decorated_animal to submitted photos.

This pool is a good place to know about different traditions and cultures. Please, be friendly and respect each other. Do not use it for other types of photos. No intentional mockery on animals, for a pic for this group, please, and no abuse of animals.

If you (beeng not a member) have a photo, which is about the theme of our group, and has no invitation, please, submit it to the thread for invite : www.flickr.com/groups/decorated_domestic_animals/discuss/...

Photos, which do not correspond our topic, will be deleted from the group pool without notice.
