About Decommissioned
Hundreds of military ships, aircraft and vehicles find new life as civilian carriers after being discharged from service. Others are rescued from salvage, restored, then flown, sailed or driven to ceremonies honiring their service. This group highlights their successful transition. Photographs should feature functioning decommissioned equipment, not static as monuments.
