About Décarossage Archive

A certain kind of (de)construction--décarossage--in the Paris metro sometimes reveals posters from the 1950s and 60s. These ancient affiches are then either torn down or built over.

This group documents their ephemeral apparition.

Please post photos of posters discovered during décarossage as well any clichés from the construction process itself. When possible, identify the station (and metro line) where your pictures were taken.
