About Deathscapes
"DEATHSCAPES: A term coined I heard one day when I was out blogging, it was in reference to Stieglitz's Poplar tree photographs. Don't know if it's a brand new term or not, but I like the idea and sound of it." - Barkeater [founding father]

All things that take time to look at in depth, or that evoke a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including the landscape, machinery, animals, humans and other features. OPEN TO INTERPRETATION!
Not just a pretty picture, but this is not a "dark world" either, we would consider a vibrant colorful image of a photograph from great heights a Deathscape as well as dead flowers.
If you have any doubts about what this group is all about wander around our pool and discern visually what we do. Enjoy.
NOTE:
- Photomanipulations/post-processing are always welcome as long as you do not slap 3D computer animations maladroitly morphed with pics or anything that strays too far from photography.
- Graphic images are also embraced if done in an aesthetically pleasing manner (i.e. Joel Peter-Witkin would not offend the group).

At your discretion please extend the above description/invitation to others that fit the bill... or feel free to tweak it to your tastes. Just please don't slap an invite and run...leave a nice comment when you do.
