Deano is a baby dinosaur. His egg hatched near Los Angeles millions of years too late. His species was already extinct. Poor Deano! We have to take care of him as he is the last of his kind.

We want to spoil him! So we asked him what was his favorite thing to do. He quickly told us "TRAVEL!!!!!" Yes, Deano LOVES to travel! So we worked out a system where Deano can travel the world and see the many cool sights and along the way share his travels with all of us.

So here is the plan:

You can register with us by e-mailing us here at Flicker or at PATBREANA@yahoo.com. This will get on you on the list. You can tell us where you want to take Deano. If you are a lucky Deano host he will be mailed to you.

Take him on vacation (remember Deano loves to fly first class). Take a photo of Deano at his destination. Don't forget to bring Deano home with you! Then download the photo into this FLICKR group.
E-mail us and tell us where he went and maybe a little story of what Deano did on vacation. E-mail us and tell us that Deano is ready to move on!

You will be instructed to to mail Deano back to us or send him to the next person. Deano can go regular mail and the mailing expense is on you.

Then join us watching Deano here on Flickr and follow his adventures!

Some Rules:

+E-mail us to register yourself as a host.

+Take a photo of Deano showing a bit of where he is. Be creative.

+Download the photos of Deano ASAP and get him moving on to the
next person quickly. Deano does not like to spend time in one place.

+If you are on vacation in several places it is ok to take a shot in each
place. If you go to London, Paris, Rome, then take a photograph in
each spot. Feel free to take as many fun or crazy shots of Deano.
Have fun writing about him. My sister and I will pick one or two
photos from each place and will add that to the Deano Blog:
traveldeano.livejournal.com/ We will rework what you
have to say a bit on that blog. But as far as Flickr goes - add
anything and post as much as you want - Make it fun!

+It's ok if Deano visits the same place twice. He has his favorite
towns! But try to get a new shot. For example if you go to San
Francisco take a photo of him on the Golden Gate Bridge and
the next person can take him at the Ferry Building.

+ MOST IMPORTANT - Keep Deano moving. He gets bored in
one place. We know he is delightful company, but please
take his photo, upload him and send him on his way!
