As you may know every Sunday afternoon there is a drum circle at Malcolm X/Meridian Hill Park.
If the weather is nice, it's a great place to take photos of people dancing, playing music and enjoying life!
Join the group and post your best photos & share your thoughts!

New DC Social Group
Philliefan99 and HeatherMG and I EPMD have restructured the newly founded DCist Meetup Group into a general social group for those of us who like to get together in real life on a, hopefully, more regular basis.
This is still the main DC Metro Area Group, we just wanted something that we could organize group meetups and such a little easier.
Please check it out. DC Social

Hi! I am the administrator for Cinemas Washington DC Area group and wish to extend an invite to everyone to come check us out. We are really interested in posting photos of metro DC area cinemas, past and present, whose marquees have illuminated many a night beckoning those in need of a diversion to come and few its offerings . Exterior photos are good, but interior shots, in particular photos of theatre auditorium(s) are most relished since this is the part not everybody gets to see.

If you have any pre-digital pictures of Arlington, please add them to the group Arlington, VA before 1990.
www.flickr.com/groups/old_arlington/
The group has pictures of Arlington from the 1920s until the 1980s, although we hope to get Civil War era photos and engravings and earlier if possible! Please scan your old pics and add them to FlickR and to this group!
Thanks!

The deadline to enter is August 20th, so you have another week to pick your two best DC photos to enter!
