by the way, there's a little blurb about the show in the Washington Post Express today if you can find a copy on your way home. It's on page E15 of the Weekend Pass part of the Express. I tried to get the link to the Express pdf but the website won't allow it- maybe they haven't posted today's express yet.

hmmmm. weeeeeellll. Trixie and Monkey are a new burlesque show. When I saw them at 9:30 one skit did involve pasties. Perhaps Do could give a better assessment?

Personally, I think your average teen nowadays can see a lot racier material just playing video games . . .

yeaaaaah, there's a fair amount of flesh, and i agree that there are a lot of racier ways to see flesh (internet, video games, etc.) and if it were a movie, it would be rated R for "mature themes" and some nudity and some "language" if that helps anybody. I think those issues are probably up to the individual parents although I've never seen any teens at the shows. there's nothing offensive if you don't mind a bit of nudity in some of the acts.

Really, I was mostly kidding - I've read up, and seen the pics. :)
I drag the kid to a lot of places for a variety of cultural experiences... but this might still be a bit beyond him. *grin*
