About The DC Jazz Festival Photo Contest

Submit your favorite 2011 DC Jazz Festival photos on Flickr.com, and enter to win a pair of brunch tickets to Georgia Brown’s. Runner up will receive a pair brunch tickets to Cashion’s Eat Place. Each ticket is valued at 50 dollars a pair.

To be considered for the contest giveaway all photos must be submitted on the DC Jazz Festival Photo Contest group page by June 20, 2011.

Rules and Regulations:

1). The photo must be taken during a DC Jazz Festival event (past or present) and uploaded to the DC Jazz Festival’s Flickr group and tagged under The DC Jazz Festival Photo Contest.

2). Each member can submit up to 10 photos.

3). Each member must indicate where and when the photo was taken.

4). This contest is open to professional and non-professional photographers.

5). The photo must be your own and not something you found on the Internet.

6). DCJF will select the finalists on June 20, 2011. Once DCJF selects the finalists, we will create a unique link where anyone can vote. There is no limit to how many times a person can vote.

7). All photographs will remain copyrighted to the photographer. However, by entering the contest, you hereby grant to the DC Jazz Festival a royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, and publicly display your photographs through print and electronic media. By submitting work, you also accept that the DCJF can crop and alter your images to make them suitable for projection.

8). The winners will be announced on July 1st, 2011. The winner will be notified by a DC Jazz Festival staff member through the contact methods available in the winner's Flickr profile. Please make sure your profile is up-to-date so we can contact you!
