About DC/Baltimore/NoVa Strobist
A meeting place for DC/Baltimore/NOVA based photographers to post photos, discuss all things related to off-camera lighting through the use of flash units, referred to as strobing, particularly with relation to the DC/Baltimore region.
This is intended as a regional off-shoot of the strobist group:
www.flickr.com/groups/strobist/
and the strobist blog:
www.strobist.blogspot.com/2006/02/welcome-to-strobist.html
and is in no way intended as competition, but rather as a way for DC/Baltimore strobists to connect, without clogging the message boards at the bigger site.
It is highly recommended that you be a member of the Flickr strobist group.
Please don't post pictures here if you are not a DC/Baltimore based photographer.

RULES
1. Post only photos that use off camera lighting. That is the idea behind "Strobism" after all and that is what this group is dedicated to.
2. No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) photos. Anything that you have to stop about and think if it's safe or not should not be posted. They will be removed as soon as they are noticed and repeat offenders will be removed from the group. If you want greater clarification of NSFW type photos, please contact an admin or moderator.
3. 10 Photos per day limit. This is so we don't get bombarded with photos. 10 photos per day is a large limit as we are right now just a small group. This number will change. It may go up or it may go down depending on the group's needs.
4. Include the information for the off camera lighting in the photo description. If the photos are posted without the information, you will be asked to correct it. Those that are not corrected will be removed.
5. Be curteous to fellow group members. You might not like a member but you will be civil towards them. Threads that contain unnecessary fighting will be locked. Members that harrass or attack other member will be warned and/or removed depending on the severity of the transgression and the number of time previously warned.
