About The Dawes Arboretum
Founded in 1929 by Beman and Bertie Dawes, The Arboretum now covers nearly 1,800 acres and includes eight miles of hiking trails with access to over fifteen thousand plant species.
This group is a public group dedicated to showing the beauty of the Dawes Arboretum through any means. Whether you enjoy partaking of the beautiful plant and animal life, the sweeping landscapes, or are doing an event there such as a wedding or senior shoot, feel free to post your pictures here. I have lived inside the Arboretum for over fifteen years and know first hand the opportunities that present themselves.
