About David Suzuki 30x30 Challenge
Do you want to be happier, smarter and healthier? We do. That is why we at the David Suzuki Foundation are challenging folks to take a daily dose of nature by spending at least 30 minutes a day in nature for 30 days in a row this June.
As part of the 30x30 Challenge we will be holding a weekly Flickr photo contest. We want to see amazing photos of people enjoying the wonders of nature in their neighbourhoods. And we have lots of cool prizes to give away.
To enter the 30×30 Challenge Flickr photo contest, upload photos from your time in nature each week to this group (max 7 per week). Prizes from our pals at Genuine Health will be awarded each week for the best photos. The first two weekly winners (selected on June 7th and June 14th) will have their photos displayed at our upcoming event at Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario, courtesy of Interface.
What kind of images can you post?
We want you to grab your camera, head out into your neighbourhood, take a deep breath, and focus. We need your help to capture photos of people enjoying the natural wonders in your city. Only photos taken in Canada are valid!
What information should you include with you image?
We’d love to know what the image is, when and where the image was taken. If you can geotag your image that would be superb!
What can you win?
Weekly prizes will include awesome swag from our pals at Genuine Health, including books, t-shirts and kleen kanteen water bottles. Selected photos will be featured at a David Suzuki Foundation event at the Art Gallery of Ontario on June 14th. A grand prize will be distributed at the end of the month.
