About Darwin Endless Forms
This group, along with the Exhibition, has now closed (4 October 2009).
Thank you everyone for all your submissions.
The Darwin Endless Forms group was run in association with an exhibition about Darwin and the world of art at The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, UK. Endless Forms: Charles Darwin, Natural Science and the Visual Arts (16 June - 4 October 2009) explores how artists in Darwin's time were influenced, inspired, challenged and even disturbed by his revolutionary ideas of where we came from and the world around us.
Echoing those artists who were so influenced by Darwin's theories, we invite you to submit your photos exploring the exhibition's themes (see below) from a contemporary perspective. Photos submitted to the group will also be on public display on screens in the Museum's Courtyard during the exhibition.
