About Dark, Toned and B&W from Finland As you might already know, Finland is a dark, sparsely populated and a cold place to live for the majority of the year. Long winters with limited daylight and short summers are the definition for a typical Finnish year. Melancholy and depression amongst Finnish citizens are common but luckily often momentary feelings especially during dark winter months. This group is all about bringing out these properties or sensations via photography as best as possible. Please post any kind of photos that are either dark in mood or in color, toned or modified in a way that it looks dark or wistful even when the sun is out. Dark black & whites are also accepted as well as mild and taste full dark HDR:s. No matter if the photos are landscapes, cityscapes or portraits, anything goes as long as it's DARK!
