About Dark Days

Gloomy, overcast days, maybe that fill you with a sense of dread or impending doom; or the moments before a cloudburst; days that look like night.

Please avoid late dusk, sunset and twilight pictures. If your photo is tagged "night" or belongs to a Nighttime photography group, then it does not belong in this group—This group is about unusually dark DAYS.

This group is primarily about outdoor photographs. This is not for photographs of darkened rooms, indoor photography, B&W photos of sunny days or just dark photos in general. It is also not for for "dark" themes—this is about literally dark days. Good examples of what we are looking for:





HDR and other post-processed photos are welcome, but they should not be overdone—it should have truly been a gloomy, dark day, with the post-processing merely highlighting that.
