About DAPA "Exhibition & Distinction" GROUP

The DAPA “Exhibition & Distinction” Group was set up in November of 2007 for those members who expressed the wish to further their photographic experience outside that of Flickr, but still remain active within the group.

The principle aim of the group is to provide details of the forthcoming exhibitions under patronage of the Federation International de l’Art photographique (FIAP), the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) and to take part in their distinction and award programs.

In January 2008 the group was accepted as a member of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation, with affiliation to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.

This is a creative digital photography group for the more experienced photographer.
The aim of the group is to work together as team, in order to push the limits of our photography to the standards required for the above mentioned distinctions.

Participating as a member of this group involves certain fees. These relate to the usual exhibition entrance fees and to the groups yearly federation and affiliation fees.

To the photographer dually recorded as a Dapa “Exhibition & Distinction” Group member, who wishes to exhibit work in National and/or International Exhibitions offered by the FIAP, PAGB and BPE, there will be an annual subscription fee payable upon joining.
