About Dangerous Visions
This is a historical record of the author signings and happenings surrounding the late, great Dangerous Visions Bookstore. DV sold science fiction, fantasy, and horror in Sherman Oaks, California. It was founded by Lydia Marano who ran it successfully with her husband, Arthur Byron Cover, from April 1981 until November 2002. It was a great place to hang out and talk, browse, or listen to music. Whenever we had an autograph party you could count on local writers coming in to join the fray.
We had a blast while it was open and invite you all inside to remenise. Any former customers of ours are invited to contribute to the pool. Anyone can join and comment.
Today: Art remains a science fiction writer, while Lydia posts on Flickr as Telzey. Together we now own and operate Babbage Press ... while continuing to sell off stock.
