About Daily Alphabet Challenge

This group was born from a desire to combine the best, and eliminate the worst of two worlds: Challenge groups, and 365 projects.

The best ?
- Challenge groups: Competition, appreciation, motivation, group atmosphere, diversity.
- 365 project: daily photo fun, self-motivation, self-study,

The worst ?
- Challenge groups: Usually moving too fast for those of us who are busy with other things.
- 365 project: Can sometimes be too long, very likely to have to skip one or more days.

So, if you agree with the above, I think you should enjoy this group, so read on.

On each of the first 26 days of every month, we will have a challenge, to shoot a subject for the corresponding letter of the alphabet. The actual theme will be decided by the group, in a discussion thread opened at least 5 days in advance. Then, members will have 5 days to post their entries in a "contest" thread, and after 5 days there will be an additional 5 days for voting on the best picture of that subject.

The only request is that once you start participating in this group, you follow it through with a commitment for at least one complete alphabet cycle.

The remaining days of each month will be used for special challenges, discussions about the month's work, preparations for the following month, etc.
