Best ergonomics I've seen on a 1-series Canon yet. ;-)

I love the analog battery gauge. Damn you, Nikon, for not giving that to us!

The only thing here I'm actually envious of is the "call spock" function...

What about the "sex" function? :-P

Only the kind of person who would know Photoshop this well would make the "pizza" button bigger than sex.

Oh, I'm really laughing right now. Love the pee break like light, sometimes you just need that reminder.

No need ;)
And I have too much pizza already...both in the fridge and around my waist. I'm over 30, you know...
I am wondering what the big red "L" button is, though....

"Lunch" perhaps?

Hmm.. dunno.
The Adams mode?
It would be way funny if the L button was actually the "Don't Panic" button.

I'm thinking Ansel Adams.
I'm not sure what the L button is either, but the DPReview people loved it.

The L button must simulate canon-L glass even when you have a crappy $120 sigma zoom mounted.

Of course! I wasn't thinking in Canon MarketSpeak. ;-)

I see...so "L" is Canon shorthand for something along the lines of "ED-IF AF-S" or soemthing. I guess "L" is shorter.
But less impressive.

It creates a dichotomy, which makes people think "good" and "bad" glass. Great for their sales, but not true. Canon has some great non-L lenses. I'd rather have a Canon 85 f/1.8 than the giant, slow 85 f/1.2L, for instance.

How is f/1.2 "slow"? Or do you mean AF speed?
I wish that we could use Canon glass, like they can use ours...

Haha, yes. Not slow in terms of aperture, but its AF is a dog because the system is a bit aged and it's turning a GIANT hunk of glass.
I'd love a camera with an infinitely variable lens mount. Despite ragging on Canon's marketing here, I think they make some fantastic stuff.
