In the rural environment of Reigoldswil (Switzerland) the Swiss artist d-oo-b (Bendix Freutel) will be performing moments of art. Out of a showcase he will introduce the high tech world of Second Life to hikers passing by the street , displaying virtual art of Second Life to a screen.
This confrontation should be an inspiration for the people in rl to get involved to the show, there will be possibilities for that.
Bendix Freutel (in Second Life Eifachfilm Vacirca) is organizing live and online art performances and will present them simultaneously on Odyssey Sim and in the showcase (Kunst-Fenster) in Switzerland.
With this project the impermanence of virtual art is going to be visualised to a wide range of people who dont even look for it. The performance will introduce the worldwide networking of artists on virtual platforms using the example of Odyssey Community in the virtual world of Second Life.
