16 May 10 - Thanks to everyone for submitting and being a fan of our Cities of Night Photo Contest. The response was overwhelming and we had a heck of a time picking only 10 finalists.

We have posted the winning photo and the short story it inspired at www.chizine.com/chizinepub/contests/cities-of-night.php.

About ChiZine Publications' Cities of Night Photo Contest

To celebrate the release of Cities of Night, we asked for subtle, creepy & evocative photos of cities at night. You delivered. Ania Bibulowicz's "Dark Passenger" won, inspiring the short story "Dead Highways" by author Philip Nutman. As well, Philip wrote a bonus story tying together the nine runners up.
