Hi Kawaii Crafter, great idea! I'll mention this on the Cuteable blog so we can get this thread rolling.

As for me, my name is Sion and I'm an artist and blogger. I do web design on the side but my focus is currently on Cuteable and my art business, Ubiki.

I live in sunny (scorching at the moment) Las Vegas with my crazy beagle and love handmade/independent crafts!

Hey! I'm Melissa Sue, I'm from the suburbs of chicago, and I make stuff. Mainly, AMIGURUMI of DOOM. Cute doom. I try to work with as much recycled material as possible - I frog sweaters in my free time - although lately I am making myself feel better about buying yarn by only purchasing from my LYS, and supporting them (sorry, hobbylobby). I have been crocheting foreverz, and June 1st this year I unleashed my amigurumi creatures on the world. Ha hahaha. I'm sorry, I've had too much coffee. I will post pictures now.

Currently, I'm in a crochet phase with no visible end in sight! :) I'm also in the process of writing out some of my patterns in the hopes of selling them on Etsy and sharing them with others.

ixela says:

Hi everyone,
yesterday I discovered your group from a random blog and right away I love Cuteable and joined you.

My name is Alessandra (aka IXELA) and I live in Torino, a lovely Italian town.
I am an architect and my first job is planning and house design, but my real passion, since I was a little child, are women's accessory and jewels, expecially every kind of outlandish and sparkling ones.
Many years ago I began to gather beads, pearls and other parts from old and vintage broken jewellery and to re-assemble some new jewels one of a kind for me and my friends.
Often enough I use poor materials for my creations (such as stones, pebbles, shells, sea glass or plastic beads)... sometimes I mix them with more precious supplies.
I love to improve every piece I create with my whimsical thoughts!
I love you all will take a look at my blog ixela-thoughts.blogspot.com and leave me your comments!
I also have an Etsy shop at www.ixela.etsy.com.

P.S.: I beg your pardon about my poor english!!!

Hello! My name is Stefanie, owner of DBS Jewelry in Illinois. I love to design and create jewelry and have just posted my pics.

I'm a mother of two and started creating jewelry with my sisters two years ago. We all love the work, but have distinctly different styles which gives us a great variety of pieces.

I came across the Cuteable community and love the promotion of independent artisan work! The work I've seen posted from all the members is truly fantastic! Keep up the good work!

A bit about me...

I am a twenty something wife and mother of two! I live in the very small town of Kit Carson Colorado (population about 250)! I am the proud owner of my own little retail business “Objects Of Affection”. After fixing up a long abandoned house in the town, I opened the doors for business Memorial weekend 2006. I open my shop two days a week (Thursday & Friday) and I offer a mix of vintage goods, hand crafts, home decor and jewelry! If you're ever in southeast Colorado stop on by and say “hi”. My shop is located at 304 DePee Street, Kit Carson, CO.
The handcrafted items in my shop are all made by me! I have always loved art and creating unique one-of-a-kind pieces! I love to work with vintage/antique ephemera as well as vintage fabrics for my sewing projects. Other mediums of art that I enjoy include painting, mixed media, sewing and photography. For any more information about me please e-mail me at: shopobjectsofaffection@yahoo.com.
