28 Jun 07 - Welcome to the group. There are no rules other than images must relate to Wainwrights Coast to Coast Walk from St Bees Head on the Irish Sea to Robin Hoods Bay on the North Sea. Deviations from the `official' path are allowed as Wainwright encouraged this. Enjoy! Related groups Lakeland Yorkshire dales N.Y. Moors

About Wainwrights Coast to Coast Walk

A portrait of the beautiful scenery between St Bees on the Irish Sea and Robin Hoods Bay on the North Sea.

The walk is one of the most beautiful long distance walks in England. It was devised by the late great A. W. Wainwright, who will be fimiliar to all fellwalking enthusiasts.

It is approximately 192 miles in length and traverses 3 National Parks; The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales, The North York Moors, what more could you ask for? It is a walk in paradise!
