About CSIS SEAP | 2nd Photo Contest: Saving Mother Earth
The CSIS Southeast Asia Program (SEAP) Photo Contest is an opportunity for the world to see Southeast Asia through your eyes and lens.
This month, our theme will be “Saving Mother Earth." We would like you to submit images taken in Southeast Asia that demonstrate efforts of individuals or groups, either government or NGOs, working to preserve the long term environmental well-being of the country and region.
What makes your photograph a CSIS SEAP photo contest winner? Technical quality, clarity, and composition are all important, but also the flair for the unexpected and the ability to capture a picture-perfect moment.
Submission of photos: 11 June – 9 July, 2010. The contest will be officially closed on 9 July, 2010, 5pm (EST). Official voting for top three photos will occur from 10 – 23 July, 2010 on our Facebook page. Official voting closes at 23 July, 2010, 5pm (EST).
The winner will be awarded a Flickr Pro account and the opportunity to participate in the Grand Prize competition later this year!
All winning entries will have a chance to be displayed at related CSIS SEAP events and conferences and in the new Asia Wing of the new CSIS Building. This allows your work to be seen by prominent policy makers in Washington DC and around the world!
