About Life's a Crop Shoot (Narrow Format)

This group is for unusually tall and skinny or short and wide cropped photos, panoramas, and stitchings.

A very narrow or very short composition presents unique challenges to your eye -- there's more there than you can take in with a single glance. It becomes a visual narrative.

We want to see the stories in your photos.

If your picture tells a story, or is cropped creatively, congratulations. We admire that. But if it's not also tall & skinny or short & fat, then we will send the picture off with our blessing, and encourage it to find gainful employment elsewhere, with no hard feelings.
