About Cromford Canal

Welcome to the Cromford Canal group

A group for photographs old and new, of the Cromford Canal in Derbyshire. We welcome all subjects relating to the canal, it's history, architecture, wildlife, surroundings and restoration.

More about the efforts to restore the canal can be found at the award winning site of the Friends of the Cromford Canal, whose aim is to see the restoration of the historic Cromford Canal for the benefit of the general public.

Parts of the canal also lie within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage site

There are no limits on posting but it is normal group etiquette not to fill a page with all your photos - add a few at a time and let others get their new photos seen.
