Afer submitting a picture, please critique some one else's, this guarantees getting atleast one comment on your photo. Remember that you don't have to be an expert!

Update: great to see a lot of you researching & using technical terms in your replies.

This is a place for young photographers to give and receive constructive, honest and respectful feedback on posted images.

Giving a Critique
Be honest, to the point, specific, helpful and always respectful

You don't have to be an expert to give a critique. Be descriptive in what you mention, eg (Compostion, Clarity, Subject, Colour, Contrast, Lighting, Cropping, Sharpness etc)
Give alternative suggestions.

Posting to the pool
Your favorite images, images you cant decide on, images that seem popular, most commented on, made it to explore etc.

"Critique This! name-of-image your-flickrid"
This organises the posts and makes it easier to find again.


Notes
Return the favour - once posted your image, critque others.
Do not ask for your whole stream to be viewed/critiqued
Pick images which you have put thought and effort into.
Don't take all the critique personal, some will be harsher than others, its all to help you develop.
