Anyone have any home tips or gardening sugestions?

I read somewhere that sprinkling coffee grounds on the top soil or putting used tea bags around your plants will raise acidity. My passiflora seem to like that because I have one growing up my sunroom screen and it's doing pretty good. Just got to not add too much or you'll burn the plants.

Anyone else find simple home tips that have worked?
