About Crewe Heritage Centre

The Crewe Heritage Centre.

Whilst our Museum changed its name from The Railway Age in 2008, we are still very much a railway centre based on the LMS Yard for Crewe Railway Station.

Many enthusiasts visit the Centre to view visiting locomotives - some in steam. Others to view the other many exhibits at the Centre.

If you have not visited our attraction for a while you will soon realise why we are now The Crewe Heritage Centre. The history of other aspects of the town is widely featured in our displays.

We are still very much a visit for the whole family. Our attractions include the prototype tilting Advanced Passenger Train, working signal boxes, a shop with a stock of old and new transport books and the children's corner - and of course our famous Miniature Railway. We even have a prototype Bentley Continental GT on display!
