04 Nov 10 - People were writing me with all the inspired things they were creating after they received my new book, "Creative Illustration Workshop". Some do not consider themselves 'artists' and some are full time artists. I thought it would be fun to let people share their art, sketches, stories, ideas, crafts, assemblage, puppets or words that are coming to them after they look at my book. It makes me happy.

About Inspired by "Creative Illustration Workshop"

"Creative Illustration Workshop", by artist Katherine Dunn of Apifera Farm was published in November, 2010 [Quarry Books] and it's goal is to inspire readers to see their environments- be it city or farm- as a library of feelings, textures and stories.

It is geared for both the new artist, the budding artist, the worn out artist, or anyone who loves life, color, feeling, emotion and wants to share it- through art and story.

This group is not a critique group, although people are encouraged to share [kindly] their thoughts on other's submissions. The goal here is to post art, puppets, stories, ideas- anything that you were inspired to think about or create- finished or unfinished, after you read "Creative Illustration Workshop".

No one should feel shy. But this group is moderated by the artist.
