About createpeace
"createpeace" is promoting a community street-art project called "Create Peace, Make Peace". Its aim is to create 100 messages for peace. The final aim is to create an "Art Walk" between 8th-15th Dec in Brixton, where the messages will be displayed.
It would be an after show party at Mango Landin's bar, (40, St Matthew's Rd, Brixton) where people are still welcome and encourage to participate with videos, poetry, singing, perfomance, comedy , or simply by creating your own message on the spot. Please CONTACT US if you would like to participate!!!
People can create transient art in the street and record it (e.g. photo/video/sound), producing and expressing their ideas about peace through performance, installation, music, poster-art, photography or video. Any media accepted.
There are specific designated areas where the work can be left and exhibited. (Please see below)
This group will produce an on-line photographic record of the whole project, originated in Brixton, London
This a great opportunity to get involved with the community and show how we can “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE”.

3- Make a record of it (digital camera, mobile camera, video, etc).

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU DON’T HAVE A MEANS TO RECORD IT AND WE CAN DO IT.

You need to become a member and open an account. It is very simple and only takes few minutes to do.
5- Download the image, adding your name, date, specific location of your message and a brief explanation or title. Please contact us if you don’t have a means to record your message or have any problems downloading it.
6- Put videos on You Tube. If you decide to make a video you need to make a link to You Tube to visualize it: www.youtube.com
