About Draw/Write/Paint/Create/Play in a Book

Please join us in a shared art project, designed to inspire you to create artwork. This is not a contest or a critique group, just an idea that we hope will help motivate people to be creative, together, in a fun, no-stress environment. Give yourself permission to rediscover the wild creativity you had as a child.

You will take a few months to fill up a sketchbook, scan in your pages, share some on our Flickr group, and get and provide feedback to other participants.

There are just a few rules:

1) Get a sketchbook that you like.
2) Draw/write/paint/create in your sketchbook. Anything is allowed - honor the artist in you!
3) Get a Flickr account (an online photo-sharing site; the basic account is free).
4) Digitize your pages, and post them to your Flickr account.
5) Add your favorite pages to the “Draw/Write/Paint/Create/Play in a Book” Flickr group.
Please tag all photos you add to the group with “CREATE IN A BOOK.”
6) Finish by September 1, 2011.

It’s really that easy! Anyone can join. Invite your friends! There are a few more details available in the "group rules" section (which you'll see when you join), and you can always ask questions in the group's discussion pages.
