Hey everyone! I'm starting up an arts magazine called CRAP MAGAZINE. I am looking for talent to fill the first issue with, and I am specifically on the lookout for younger photographers as there will be an article about young photographers on Flickr. Please submit any photos of yours that you think are unique or just fun.

CRAP stands for ”Crazy Ramblings About Pornography.” Now before you go all ape-shit and curse at yourself for buying a porn magazine, let me explain. This magazine has absolutely nothing to do with erotic behaviour and sexual excitement; instead, the word pornography is meant to have a slightly different definition. According to Miriam-Webster’s Dictionary, pornography is “the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction.” These “acts” could be a number of things, but for the purpose of this magazine, we will say that they are all things relating to the arts. Yes, you’ve finally got it, this is an art magazine. Photography, music, dance, painting, doodles, the list goes on. If it’s art, it’s our own little twisted version of porn. The whole point of CRAP MAGAZINE is to bring the newest and coolest art to the greater public via an easy-to-read, colorful, and fun publication. Hey, if you really wanted to work your brain, you’d pick up something like Moby Dick or Harry Potter. But no, you just wanna read a load of CRAP, don’t you.
