About Crandon Gardens

Crandon Gardens is a little gem of a tropical park located a ten minute walk from the Village of Key Biscayne, between the Crandon Tennis Center and Crandon Park Beach. This is a low impact Dade County park created at the site of the former Crandon Park Zoo (1947) and is ideal for strolling, bicycling, meditation and photography. Volunteers feed the birds with food donated by local merchants. Many skilled nature photographers visit this park and are welcome to join and add their photographic impressions to this group.
