What is the CRAFTSPACE Collective?
Who is it for?
- Young people aged 16-25.
- Anyone who is interested in craft, design or making can come along or join our facebook group. You don’t need to have studied art and we particularly welcome people who are currently not in education or employment.
- Craftspace Collective welcomes everyone from any background. If you have particular access requirements please let us know in advance.
What do we do?
We meet regularly to work on projects using Guerilla Craft, DIY Craft and Craftivism. (What is this?! *see below).
We often work with professional artists.
We try and use our work to influence change – such as drawing attention to green issues, using recycled materials or thinking about where we live in a different way.
