My most popular by far (34 to date, next best has only 18 faves):
I put it in a couple of "post/comment" groups at the beginning of the year and the response was phenomenal. Ironically though, I prefer the untouched original from which this was cropped, but the reaction to that one has been underwhelming.

I have to agree with previously said that what I think is really good and what others give favs isn't necessarily the same. But then - On flickr, the photos that are eyecatching in a small format get the views whick eads to comments and faves...

I've learned over time that views and faves rarely come from groups (try checking out the stats on your pics) - though COTC is an honourable exception. Nor do I have a huge number of devoted contacts. But the right tags can work wonders. This one was a relatively slow starter, but because it shows up quite high up on the list of photos returned by a search on "new york", it's regularly clocked up twenty or so faves a month since I first posted. Which pleases me, because it's one of my own favourite shots.
