About Corps of DiscoveryPeople, places and objects relating to Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery. Please feel free to join our new group and contribute your photos and videos pertaining to the Corps of Discovery, also known as the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Our nation has conflicting feelings about this exploration party: some feel it was a triumphant journey of courage and curiousity, some feel it was the beginning of the end of native autonomy. Either way, it was a pivotal moment in our history and deserves commemoration. This page is devoted to remembering the impact of the Corps of Discovery on our past, present and future. |
