About Cornell Young Birders Event 2009

A four-day event at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY from August 6-9, 2009, focused on birding, birding-related careers, and more. 10 young birders selected through an application process were given the privilege to not only visit the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, but meet and converse with members of its staff, as well as tour specimen collections and video and sound archives. A really amazing weekend with some great birds and greater birders.
