Round two?

So, I've sent the box I made, and I'm waiting for my box to arrive, and I'm already thinking about things I could have done instead (and trying to figure out how to solve the projects that didn't work out), and am I'm thinking that another round of swapping would be fun.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I'd <3 it! I was just complaining about CMBS withdrawal symptoms to my SO.

I still need to see the film, unfortunately for a such a cosmopolitan city London gets certain films really really late. But, yes I'm up for it or any other swap... I think that I've been bitten by the swap bug :)

I was sort of thinking sign-up open until the end of April and a mailing date at the end of May.

I have a slightly stranger idea. What about a swap based on Neil's new book "The Graveyard Book?" Since we don't have a movie to base character and object designs on we would be forced to be more imaginatively creative with what we come up with. I think if I did another Coraline swap I would just be making the same creatures again, dogs, mice, squid, etc. Just a thought.

I liked the Coraline novel, but (don't be mad at me) The Graveyard Book, I think, is much better.

Here's the NPR interview Neil did for a reference:

I definitely want to do a second Coraline swap, but I'm also open to the idea of a Graveyard Book swap. I'll have to reread my copy while thinking about what sort of craft projects might suit.

I'm up for it too!!! I haven't read the graveyard book yet, but was thinking of getting it as it was illustrated by one of my absolute idols (Chris Riddell,, so this seems to me like the perfect excuse to go to a bookshop... as if I need an excuse :P

I'd have to read the book too, I'd be up for a Graveyard Book swap a bit down the road. :)
