About Copyfighters - Free Culture in Flickr!
This is an age when innovation in information technology happens in breakneck speeds. Everything from music to books to programs to full-length movies are becoming more widely and easily available. However, against this backdrop of ever growing access to information is an increasingly contentious conflict between two groups. On one side are the copyfascists and on the other side the copyfighters. Together they compose the two sides of the copyright social conflict, or copyfight.
What is this group about?
This group discusses and debates the nuances of the copyright issues, fair use, and our right to build upon creative works within and without Flickr.
