Share your photos and video of cool, close and free things to do in Sun Valley, Idaho!
Sun Valley/Ketchum is encouraging travelers to make their escape from the dog days of summer and head to the mountains and beautiful Sun Valley. It’s a cool place to soak in some FREE live music, fine arts, fun festivals and more. We’ve also got all the best hiking, biking, walking and shopping you can fit into a weekend getaway. Sun Valley/Ketchum is close to many multi-day scenic adventures so you can get the most out of your summer vacation. Head to Sun Valley and along the way experience a ghost town, roaring rapids, hot springs, lava rock, craters, and ice caves.
Post a photo of your favorite FREE Sun Valley summer activity or a video capturing the action, so others can get a feel for all the cool FREE ways to have fun in the sun!

Cool Close Free Photo Contest Prizes
A winner will be selected EACH MONTH (June 1, July 1, August 1 & September 1) and be awarded a $50 Sun Valley Chamber Choice Gift Certificate. Then at the conclusion of the contest on September 30th, a GRAND PRIZE winner will be selected and be awarded ________.
How the Winners are Determined:
The Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB marketing staff will select the best images and descriptions; entries will be judged on the quality of the image, creativity, and how well the image captures the qualities of the cool close free Sun Valley experience. The photo contest finalists will then be forwarded to our panel judges who will also judge the photo entries on this criteria. The winners will be announced via email to all Contest participants on or after the selection dates listed above. The winners will also be announced at www.visitsunvalley.com/coolclosefree.
Rules:
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States. Your entry into the contest constitutes your agreement to allow your photographs — and your name, occupation, city and state of residence — to be used by the Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB on the websites that it owns, and promotional materials about the Sun Valley area. By submitting your photo you agree that all rights in and to your award winning photo will thereby be unconditionally transferred to and forever belong to the Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB and the Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB may make whatever use of your prize winning photo it deems appropriate without need to provide photo credit.
The photos you submit must have been taken by you, and you must hold the full rights to the photos. Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB employees and contributors are free to submit photos, but they are ineligible to win prizes.
Eligible Images:
Any image that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by the staff of the Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB in their sole discretion, will be removed from the Contest.
The Sun Valley/Ketchum CVB shall have the right to verify, in their sole judgment, winner eligibility.
