my sis & i decided to resurrect this cookie exchange that we did back in 2006. i know, we are totally crazy for adding more on our swapping plates, but we love cookies! & maybe you do too!

what the cookie swap entails: you may send cookies, recipe of favorite cookies, a handcrafted gift and/or other holiday treats (e.g., candies, cocoa packets, xmas ornament, cards, music cd, magazines/books, etc).

sign-ups until september 26 or until 24 peeps reached (whichever comes first) as this is a 1:1 swap. mail-out date is between november 29 to december 6.

do you love baking cookies & other delightful sweets as much as you enjoy eating them?? then i cordially invite you to my cookie swap 2006! it's open to anyone who would like to share a recipe or two (or three, four, etc) of their fave cookie/baked goodie recipe>>>just in time for the holidays (& in the northern hemisphere, brr, cold wintry days)! you don't necessarily have to actually bake cookies, unless you & your swap partner mutually agree, but i do ask that how many ever recipes you're going to share with your partner, that you enclose the recipes in either a hand-crafted or store-bought decorated holder. it could be a decorated envelope, booklet, tin, box, etc. whatever you can imagine>>>it can be elaborate or as simple as you would like (& have time for)...JUST so you know, no plain holders allowed! this is supposed to be a crafty-cookie swap...i know there are so many wicked crafty, talented folk out there!

here's how we're gonna do it:
1)you tell me you are interested in playing
2) whether or not you are willing to mail your swap goodies internationally.
3) i will accept names until october 1, 2006.
4) i will begin the swap pairings & email you with your swap partner info
5)you & designated swap partner will be given each other's email info so that you may get to ask what your likes/dislikes, food preference/restrictions are, etc.
6)the weeks of november 20, 2006-december 4, 2006 will be the period in which you mail your goodies to your swap partner.
7)i ask that during that time frame noted in #6, that you email me a pic of your swap goodies & i will post in a collective flickr collage so that we can all admire everyone's handiwork! {smile}
8) are you game?
9) well, what are you waiting for!
10) get crack-a-lacking! i know you have some delectible baked delight or two up your sleeves!

i hope you will join me as we spread some global sweetness & good cheer this coming holiday season. c'mon, i know you want to pour some sugar!
