We've all, either knowingly or not, taken photos of people, things or places that when we look at them later leave us utterly bewildered. Sometimes we take pictures of things that are bewildering already. "What is it?", we wonder. "Where was it? And why did I bother photographing it?"

Wonder no more.

Here's a group where you can throw those question open to the world (or at least that part of it that uses flickr) and hopefully increase your own share of its accumulated wisdom.

Just mention in your description the information you'd like, post it to the group and wait for someone with the right knowledge or expertise to come by and leave you a comment full of the kind of information and insight that we've all come to expect from our fellow flickr users. Tagging relevant photos with "conundrum" will help people find your questions.
