About Contact Toronto Photography Festival

CONTACT is an annual month-long festival of photography exhibitions and events held throughout the Greater Toronto Area during the month of May.

CONTACT 2009 THEMATIC FOCUS
STILL REVOLUTION looks back to the foundations of photography to explore the current innovations that are transforming of the role and function of the medium. From reportage to abstraction, documented fact to constructed fiction, the festival investigates photography’s force as a tool for social and political change and the evolving manifestations of photographic imagery that persistently influence the way we see the world.


We invite you to post your photos and share your experiences of CONTACT 2009.
