About ART: constructive criticism (POST 1, CRITIQUE 1)
Constructive criticism is a comment made to person in order that they see another view, or way of thinking. The comment is intended to improve the outcome and not to hurt feelings or bash the product made. Comments can be made in terms of content, color, technique and craftsmanship. It may also be fun and helpful to relate the artworks to an historically important artist (based on style) or artwork.
The goal of this group is to use an artist’s vocabulary to review and give feedback based on the elements of art and the principles of design. We assume, as an artist, you are aware of such basic art vocabulary. (if not, we are also aimed to educate and are by no means a snotty, arrogant group of art lovers= artsedge.kennedy-center.org/content/3902/ )
The members of this group are focused on providing feedback that is meaningful and receiving feedback that is appreciated.
