About Constructive Critisism
This group is for anyone that wants good advice on how to better their photography skills. If you have a picture you want feedback on, post it in the Need a Critique discussion thread. You should also copy the comment code and paste it into images that others have posted as to keep the group active. Please people, don't be harsh. So, get criticizing (constructively, of course)
Group Rules
By joining this group you are agreeing that:
- The sole purpose of this group is to better your photography skills by critiquing and being critiqued. That means participation in both aspects. If you don't critique other's photos, don't expect yours to be critiqued!
- You will not use this groups pool as a dumping ground and understand that if an administrator feels you are using it as such, your photos will be deleted from the pool. If this continues, you will be terminated from the group without any explanation.
- Participation in the Group Discussions is part of being active in this group. If you're not active in the discussions, we'll have no way of knowing if you're active in the group. Lack of participation in this manner will also lead to dismissal from the group!
- Critiquing is about helping each other improve, not about insulting each other. Be insightful with your comments! Just saying "Nice shot" isn't constructive. If you like something about the photo, be specific about what it is you like. If you don't like something, point it out, but don't be a jerk!
These rules aren't meant to be harsh, just setting some guidelines so the group can fulfill it's function in helping us all become better photographers and artists. This is a really fun group that has a diverse group of people. We hope to see you around the discussion boards!
