About Conscious Kaleidoscopes
For Baudelaire, the flâneur was a kaleidoscope endowed with a consciousness. This is a group for street-style photos taken by flâneur-photographers enjoying their princely incognito and insinuating themselves into the thick of things, camera in hand.
We want photos grabbed and made off with in the heart of the bustle, images that knit vectors, movements, glances and intentions together into an aesthetically harmonious constellation of people and place. A moment extracted from the whirl of the dance. Photos will usually feature three or more people moving or pointing in different directions.
