A NEW PHOTOGRAPHY CONCEPT & A NEW COMPETITION
THIS YEAR CONCEPT: "Rare Flowers"

RULES
1. You must SCORE!!! The winnig photo is with the highest sum of scores.
Scores are from 1 to 10. Score 10 being excellent and 1 being poor. You may use the following template:

2. Each member is to Score a minimum of 4 photos from the group from 1 to 10. A failure to do that wont permit your participation in the second competition.
3. Due to your comments last year , this year only you will choose the photo that deserves to win!!! 100% your choice. & the votting or scoring is all uncovered on flickr.
4. You can participate up to 10 photos, participation fee is $10 per photo.
5. The scores will be on two phases, 30 day phase there will be a curve of scores upon which 20 contestants will be chosen & then top 4.
6. $800 1st place, 2nd $500, 3rd $350, 4th $200

THE WINNERS

This competition which took 4 months, was launched online from Beirut (the oldest capitals of the world) to the world. During that time we've received around 750 photos from all the globe. The jury which consists of Guide To Freedom & Nobrand creative team, agreed that only two were more than excellent in visualizing the "Freedom of thought" message in their photos. However, we are afraid to announce we didn't find a number 1! Though number 2 is very close to be a number one, and can be easily number one in other competitions, but we like to set different standards to this competition. The two winners are:
1st place : no body

2nd place: Philip Sharp $800

3rd place Evan Lane $ 500
The people choice award goes to "Cristabell Palma Lobos", who won $200 cash.

AGREEMENT STATEMENT
Guide to Freedom respects the rights and privacy of our participants and we ask you to do so in return. Guide to Freedom always try to cease plagiarism in our competitions. However, Guide to Freedom is not responsible if some participants submitted photos of other photographers’ under their own name, Guide to freedom does not hold any responsibility on that. Guide to Freedom is willing to cooperate with the concerned party, by banning the participant from the competition and liberating a press release in our interviews section clarifying this plagiarism.
By submitting your photos to this competition, the competition organizers “International Guide to Freedom” has the full right to publish, your photos with the name you participated under, on both their website, as well as in all their printed publications and books, respecting the rights of the photographer (beginner– professional) by mentioning his/her full name and country. If an already participated applicant tries to abuse or sue later the organizers of this International photography competition, Guide to Freedom has the right to sue this applicant for trying to abuse the agreement statement, which the applicant already agreed on when he/she participated by sending his/her photos to this competition.
By sending your photos either to our e-mail (guide@guidetofreedom.org ) or to the photography competition group on www.Flickr.com, you would have verified that you have read and agreed to abide by our rules and regulations. Already submitted photos for more then 24hours can not be withdrawn from the competition.
