About Communist Leaders

Please post any pictures that fit into one of the below-mentioned categories. Post as many you like, there are no posting limits...

(1) historic communist leaders and thinkers

Historic photographs, monuments, statues, tombs, important historic places (e.g. somebody's bitrthplace, house, etc.) - all with regards to famous historic communist leaders like Marx, Lenin, Tito, Che, Mao, Ho Chi Minh, etc.



(2) contemporary famous communist leaders

I am thinking Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and people like that, but any contemporary communist or otherwise "far left" politician is welcome. Newspaper clippings are fine if they suit the subject - but no general pictures from a communist-governed country (even if they are of somehow political or social content).



(3) non-famous or even nameless communist leaders

Pictures of leading figures in demonstrations, rallys, conferences and things like that. Since not everyone may know the protagonists there should be some red flag or something that indicates that it is a communist or "far left" event.



(4) billboards, murals and graffiti

They should show (or at least name) a person that is somehow 'leading'.



(5) fun & merchandise

Yeah why not! Lookalikes, puppets, bobbleheads, T-shirts, Lego - you name it.
Also: something that is not actually about a real communist leader, but if the name of your local barber shop is "Castro's", go ahead!



one more thing...

Surely the concept of communism and the role of plenty of communist leaders in history are worth discussing - but this is a group for political romantics...
